M REGULAR MEETING APRIL 30, 1979 3.9 Lots 296 and 297 of Cottrell's First Addition Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 4th and 11th day of May, 1979 in the South Bend Tribune and in the Tri- County News. This Board, at its office, on the 21st day of May, 1979 at 9:30 o'clock A.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings, Adopted this 30th day of April, 1979. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS s/ Patrick M. McMahon s/ Peter H. Mullen ATTEST: s/ Patricia DeClercq, Clerk- BID ACCEPTED - CAB AND CHASSIS-FOR-BUREAU OF TRAFFIC AND LIGHTING Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, reported to the Board that he had reviewed the bids received for a Cab and Chassis for the Bureau. He recommended acceptance of the low bid of GAtes Chevrolet Company of $6,994.93 for a Cab and Chassis, with Utility Body. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the bid awarded. TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, recommended the following traffic control devices for approval: A. No Parking, North Side of Ewing, from Ironwood west, approximately 40', to supplement existing yellow curb. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the recommendation was approved. B. No Parking, West side of Ironwood, from Ewing North approximately 3/4 of a block, to supplement existing yellow curb. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Deputy City Controller Michael L. Vance submitted to the Board Claim Docket Numbers 8029 through 8394 and recommended approval. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 8029 through 8394 and directed that checks for payment be issued.
