M <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 30, 1979 3.9 <br />Lots 296 and 297 of Cottrell's First Addition <br />Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 4th and 11th <br />day of May, 1979 in the South Bend Tribune and in the Tri- County <br />News. <br />This Board, at its office, on the 21st day of May, 1979 at 9:30 <br />o'clock A.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons <br />interested in or affected by these proceedings, <br />Adopted this 30th day of April, 1979. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/ Patrick M. McMahon <br />s/ Peter H. Mullen <br />ATTEST: <br />s/ Patricia DeClercq, Clerk- <br />BID ACCEPTED - CAB AND CHASSIS-FOR-BUREAU OF TRAFFIC AND LIGHTING <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />reported to the Board that he had reviewed the bids received for <br />a Cab and Chassis for the Bureau. He recommended acceptance of <br />the low bid of GAtes Chevrolet Company of $6,994.93 for a Cab <br />and Chassis, with Utility Body. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the recommendation was <br />accepted and the bid awarded. <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended the following traffic control devices for approval: <br />A. No Parking, North Side of Ewing, from Ironwood west, <br />approximately 40', to supplement existing yellow curb. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />B. No Parking, West side of Ironwood, from Ewing North <br />approximately 3/4 of a block, to supplement existing yellow <br />curb. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Deputy City Controller Michael L. Vance submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 8029 through 8394 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 8029 through <br />8394 and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />
