23 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 9. 1979 <br />A parcel of land being part of the Southeast Quarter of <br />Section 11, Township 37 North, Range 2 East being Lots <br />32 through 39, inclusive and the vacated alley between <br />Lots 35 and 36, Vail's Addition, also Lots 1 through 8, <br />inclusive, and Lots 15 and 16, and the vacated alley <br />between Lots 4 and 5, and the vacated alley east and <br />adjacent to Lots 15 and 16, Block 9 of Vail's Addition, <br />also Lot 72 and part of Lot 71 Martins Addition and <br />the vacated alley west and adjacent thereof, also the <br />vacated portion of Franklin Street, lying between Monroe <br />Street and South Street, all in South Bend, Indiana <br />and more commonly known as Plaza Park. <br />Offering Price - $245,750.00. <br />An offering sheet with the full legal description of the real <br />estate is on file and available for inspection by any interested <br />bidders in the Office of the Board of Public Works, 1308 County - <br />City Building, South Bend, Indiana. <br />The Board will receive sealed bids at not less than the offering <br />price until the 7th day of May, 1979 at 9:30 a.m, in the Office <br />of the Board. Mullen <br />Approved this 9th day of April, 1979. <br />ATTEST: <br />s/ Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />OPEN AIR STAND APPLICATIONS REFERRED <br />Craig Imler submitted applications to operate Open Air Stands <br />at the corner of South Bend Avenue and Ironwood and the corner <br />of Ireland and U. S. 31, on private property, for the sale of <br />art work. Permission of the private property owners was attached <br />to the applications. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon,,seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the applications were referred to <br />the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department for <br />review and recommendation. <br />BONDS APPROVED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board <br />that bonds submitted by Steve Klatt, d /b /a Mud Masters, Allied <br />Mechanical Contractors and Shamrock Development, Inc, had been <br />properly executed and could be approved.. Upon motion made by <br />Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner I and carried, the bonds were <br />approved. <br />
