Comes now Captain James K. Trevey to request permission for himself and Lieutenant Parfitt to attend a Civil Defense Public Information Conference at Battle Creek, Michi- gan on November 149 15, and 16. Permission granted. There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M. Also, at this meeting the Bids for the Police Department were opened. Probf of publication in the South Bend Tribune with an affidavit signed by C. G. Livengood and in the Record with an affidavit signed by W. DeCanio was submitted to the Board and found sufficient. The Board now proceeds with the ppening of the bids: Harley Davidson Sales A non- collusion affidavit accompanied 526 Western Avenue the bid. South Bend, Indiana The bids will be AV! Total bid price .........$1,406.65 advisement until next Monday, November 59_1956.
