Company 19.83 <br />Applications for the Police Auxiliary School Patrol were examined and placed on <br />file for Thelma Louise Horvath, Martha Irene Wielgos, Dorothy Lillian Brady, Donna Belle <br />Marozsan, and Mary Arlene Blue. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Fire Chief Alex requests permission to send the following men to Purdue State Fire <br />School on the 11, 12, 13, and 14 days of September, 1956: Captains Gish, Hoffman, and <br />Carlson; Chiefs Alex, Doran, Regard, and Ledderer; Lieutenants Copeland and Filchak; <br />and Joseph Daly. Permission granted. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the me ing was adjourned <br />at 10:20 A.M. (DST). r z <br />September 20, 1956 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Thursday, September20, <br />at 10:30 A.M. All members of the Board were present. <br />At this special meeting of -the Board of Public Safety, Nicholas Horvath is hereby <br />appointed to succeed Ira Hunsberger to the position of Superintendent of the Electrical <br />)epartment. This appointment to be effective September 16, 1956. <br />Ben Medow, Inc. requested permission to use large search lights at the curb in front <br />of their building at 222 North Lafayette Street on the 19, 20, and 21st of September, 1956. <br />Permission granted. <br />There being no further business to <br />at 10:45 A.M. <br />tte-s-6 Anthony/Y.-SA-6, Clerk <br />come before the Board the Meeting was adjourned <br />Chairman <br />September 24, 1956 <br />The Board of Public Safety held its regular meeting on Monday, September 249 1956 <br />at 10:00 A.M.
