ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />Ira Hunsberger, Superintendent of the Electrical Department, <br />recommends that a 6000 lumen light be installed in the 1800.block <br />of Portage Avenue on pole number J210 -125. Board approves Mr. Huns - <br />berger's recommendation. <br />Ira. Hunsberger recommends that a 4000 lumen light be installed <br />at Sampson and Fox Streets, 30th and Nursery Court, Douglas and <br />Bruce Streets, Calvert and Walnut Streets, Rust,and Dayton Streets, <br />Walsh and Miner Streets, Notre Dame and Sorin Street, Wall Street, <br />300 ft. west of Greenlawn Avenue, and Otsego and Pokgan Streets. <br />The monthly report of the Police Department was accepted by the <br />Board and filed. <br />The time now being 10 :30 A.M.(DST) it was so announced and the <br />bids for the Electrical Department were opened. Proofs of publication <br />in the South Bend Tribune on the 13th and 20th days of April, with an <br />affidavit signed by C. G. Livengood and in the Record on the 13th and <br />20th days of April with an affidavit signed by W. DeCanio was submitted <br />to the Board.
