FEBRUARY 14, 1956 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Tuesday, <br />'ebruary 141 1956 at 10 :00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes <br />if the previous regular meeting were read and approved. Claims for salary <br />_n the amount of $75,141.52 were approved. This is not a cross alley at this <br />location and the Board now adopts that no light be installed at this location. <br />The Board then reviewe,�l the bids for the Electrical Department opened at <br />the previous meeting and awarded the bid to the following: <br />Scherman- Schaus- Freeman Co. A Non - Collusion Affidavit and <br />520 South-Lafayette St. certified check in the amount <br />South Bend, Indiana of $133. accompanied the bid. <br />1 1956 Studebaker E5 -112" VVheelbase Pick -up Truck $2289.00 <br />Less discount and allowance 967.95 <br />Total for 1 unit $1321.05 <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Fire app ca ions for the following were examined and ordered filed: George <br />Robert Brugh, Leroy Cobb, Eugene Joseph Grayckowski, Ernest Felix Kostiel- <br />eney, and Ronald John Pietrzak. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Police application for the following were examined and ordered filed <br />for the following: Robert Dean Makowski and Julius Richard Wilk. <br />There being no further business to c <br />was adjourned at 11 :20 A.M.
