Request granted. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Chief Dutrieux appeared before the Board with reference to <br />request permission from the Board to hold their annual Police Show on the <br />23rd, 24th, and 25th of July, 1956. Permission granted. <br />Captain Hazinski appeared before the Board with reference <br />to Revolving flasher (sparkler).lights. Submitted evidence of those places <br />still having such lights in operation. Board advised Captain Hazinski to <br />give notice of the ordinance to all places with such lights in operation. <br />The Contract of the Portage Township with reference to the <br />use of fire service for the township was submitted to the Board. Contract <br />approved. <br />The time now being 11:00 , it was so announced and the bids <br />for the Fire Department were opened: <br />Scherman- Schaus- Freeman Co. <br />520 S.
