Relocation expenses <br />consist of needed improvements at Sinco’s <br />new location, which will be 1720 S. <br />Michigan St, the Harvey Pro Shop / <br />Hardware. <br /> <br />Staff feels the total acquisition, relocation, <br />and moving costs of $387,605 for this <br />property is reasonable, and requests approval <br />of Resolution No. 2786 and relocation <br />expenses of $150,105, to allow for the <br />acquisition of this property. <br /> <br />Ms. King asked if the Commission will then <br />have expenses related to renovating the <br />building for Ivy Tech’s use. Mr. Relos <br />responded that it will not. <br /> <br />Mr. Downes asked for an update on Ivy <br />Tech’s enrollment, noting that when the <br />Commission began acquiring property for <br />Ivy Tech approximately eighteen months <br />ago, enrollment had increased significantly <br />and they were bursting at the seams. Ms. <br />Duncanson responded that enrollment is up <br />another 4%-5% in 2010. As part of its <br />statewide plan to improve achievement, they <br />are also adding a lot of staff. They are also <br />expanding their Student Life Program: <br />student government and clubs, etc. <br /> <br />Mr. Placek said another use they want to <br />make of the expanded facilities is for a VA <br /> 20 <br /> <br />
