October 22, 2010 <br />Derek Dieter <br />President, South Bend Common Council <br />455 County -City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />Re: Morris Performing Arts Center and Palais Royale Marketing Fund Appropriation <br />Dear Mr. Dieter, <br />I attach for filing with the South Bend Common Council an Ordinance requesting an <br />appropriation of $2,900 within the Morris Performing Arts Center and PaIais Royale <br />Marketing Fund (Fund 273). Revenues from this fund are generated from the solicitation <br />of funding for commercial promotion sponsorships and Morris marquee sponsorships. <br />Pursuant to Ordinance No. 9768 -07, the Morris Center has solicited and acquired funds <br />(as we have numerous times in the past) for sponsorship of ticket stock and hereby <br />requests fiords to be released to purchase said ticket stock. The amount of $2,900 is <br />hereby requested for appropriation. The purpose for which the Morris Performing Arts <br />Center desires appropriations consists of the following: <br />$2,900 Purchase of Morris Performing Arts Center Ticket Stock <br />The Morris Performing Arts Center requests the Council's approval of this Ordinance <br />that will benefit the City and its citizens. <br />Sincerely, <br />q <br />Dennis J.
