Mr. Campini noted in <br />his request that Officer Scott's medical and mental history is the primary aspect of the defense, <br />and sensitive information regarding such will be presented. Mr. Campini added that said <br />information is generally protected under various privacy laws and no purpose would be served <br />by allowing said information such as doctor's reports and records, and medical and mental <br />testimony being placed openly in the public domain. Attorney Bodnar stated that pursuant to <br />HIPAA laws and Indiana Code, medical conditions are considered private information, not for <br />public access. Therefore, upon a motion by Mr. Cottrell, seconded by Mr. BonDurant and <br />carried, the Executive Session for Charges 2010 -06 was approved for 8:40 a.m., on Friday, <br />October 29, 2010, in the Common Council Chambers, following the previously scheduled <br />Hearing at 8:30 a.m. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />APPROVE TRAVEL AND TRAINING EXPENSE REPORT — JUNE — SEPTEMBER 2010 <br />Chief Howard Buchanon, Fire Department, submitted the Travel and Expense Report for the <br />months of June through September, 2010, for review. There being no further questions, the <br />report was accepted for filing. <br />FILING OF MONTHLY STATISTICAL ANALYSIS REPORT — SEPTEMBER 2010 <br />Chief Howard Buchanon submitted to the Board the monthly report for the month of September, <br />2010, compiled by the Prevention/Inspection Bureau of the fire Department.
