ELECTRICAL DEPART i N`I' : <br />Superintendent Ira Hunsberger, being present, recommended to the <br />Board the installation of three L�000 lumen lights at the following <br />locations: <br />Elwood Avenue & Iowa Street <br />Keller and Iowa Street <br />Between 1602 and 1522 N. Iowa Street <br />The Board approved the above installations. <br />A petition for improved street lighting at the intersections of Huey and <br />tergan Streets, and Huey and Pershing Streets, was examined and referred <br />o Supt. Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />neetin.g was adjourned at 11 :05 A. M. <br />Chairman <br />Attests <br />Clerk <br />December 28, 1955 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was called at <br />10 :00 A. M. Wednesday, December 28, 1955, for the purpose of filling <br />three existing vacancies in the Police Department. All members were <br />present. <br />Chief of Police, Richard J. Gillen, being present, recommended to the <br />oard, the appointment of Robert A. Buzolich, Florian J. Szuba, and Daniel <br />. Pejza, and advised the Board that all three men had successfully passed <br />he required physical examinations. <br />There�`being no dissenting opinion, the Board unanimously approved <br />he appointments, to become effective, Thursday, December 29, 1955, <br />ubject to the usual probationary nine - months period. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />eeing was adjourned at 10 :10 A.
