OLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />The Board first awarded contract to Scherman- Schaus- Fre -eman Company <br />supply eight new Four -door sedans to the Police Department, in compliance <br />th their proposal of September 26, 1955. -The- G1erk was directed to issue <br />rchase order accordingly. <br />Chief of Police, R. J. Gillen, being present, requested additional <br />ime to prepare bill of particulars pertaining to violation of, Rule 12 <br />y Officer Erwin F. Kowalski. Kendall Avenue <br />Northeast corner Marine Street and Indiana-Avenue <br />Northeast corner Sussex Drive and Canterbury Drive <br />Intersection of Elwood Avenue and Canterbury Drive <br />Dead end Eunice Drive at Colfax Avenue <br />Dead end Club Drive at Eunice Drive <br />Pole J234 -621 at the intersection of Van Buren and Wilbur Street. <br />Supt. Hunsbergerts recommendation for the installation of a 2500 lumen <br />Lght at the rear of -1525 Van Buren Street was approved by the Board. <br />A petition, dated October 5, 1955, calling for the installation of a <br />,street light on Orange Street at the alley intersection, midway between <br />'B rdsell and Adams Street, was referred to Supt.
