ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: X <br />A petition, dated July 11, 1955, bearing more than twenty signatures, <br />for the installation of a street light at the intersection of N. Wellington <br />Street and W. Colfax Avenue, was examined and referred to Superintendent <br />Ira Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board at this meeting <br />the Board, thereupon adjourned at 11:30 A. M. <br />Att.e st :.121 <br />Clerk <br />C irman <br />July 25, 1955 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday, <br />July 25, 1955, at 10 :00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the <br />previous meeting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the total <br />amount of $81,758.60, were approved. Ira Hunsberger first appeared before the Board and took up with <br />the Board various matters pertaining to his department. <br />The failure of city- employee Stanley Piasecki to report back for <br />duty July 13, as scheduled, and his absence on the 14th, 15th, and 21st, <br />as well was reported by the superintendent. The Board approved deduction <br />from salary check for the four days of Piaseckits absence, in accord with <br />Supt. Hunsbergerts recommendation. <br />Petitions, dated June 1, June 27th, and July 20th, respectively, for <br />street lighting, were examined and referred to Supt Hunsberger for <br />investigation and report, for the following locations: <br />Kenmore Street from Keller Street to Bulla Street <br />North Reyer Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street <br />Intersection of E. Colfax Avenue and Ellsworth Place. <br />PJIr. Hunsbergerts recommendation for the installation of a 4000 lumen <br />light at each of the following locations, was approved by the Board: <br />Alley intersection on the south side of Vlestmoor, <br />at the edge of Bend--x Park <br />1 <br />
