4 _ <br />May 23, 1955 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday, May 23, <br />.1955, at 10 :00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous <br />meeting were read and approved. Gillen, <br />and brought to the; Boardis attention the suspension from duty of Patrolman <br />Louis C. Minnes for violation of Rules No. 5 and No. 6 of the Official <br />Rules and Regulations of the department, citing the instance and circum- <br />stances. A copy of charges and notice of hearing had been delivered to <br />Patrolman Minnes. <br />Patrolman Louis C. Minnes, having been officially notified to appear, <br />then came before the Board and offering no contradiction to the charges, <br />was suspended from duty, without pay, for a period of thirty days, commencing <br />as of May i20, 1955• <br />The Police Department application of Jerome W. Lekarczyk was examined <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />The Police Departmentts Report for the month of April was examined and <br />Ordered filed. <br />The Fire Department application of Richard J. Kaczmarek was examined <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no other business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11 :40 A.
