FIRE DEPARTMENT: <br />The Board read and discussed Section 20, 21 and-22 of the Firemen's <br />Pension Fund by -laws, as outlined in the letter of the President, Richard <br />J. Duck, under date of April 29, 1955• Fire Chief, R. J. Duck, being <br />present, took an active part in the discussion and in the particular <br />problem under consideration, decision was reached that a "rider" is to be <br />attached to the Fire Department application form, giving the applicant <br />due notice that a deposit must be made with the examining physician, of <br />a specified amount sufficient to cover total cost of the examination, <br />at time of reporting for such examination in compliance with instructions . <br />received from the Firements Pension Fund. <br />Fire Department applications of Norbert A. Celichowski and Stanley <br />E. Herman were examined and ordered placed on file. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASURES: <br />The report of the Inspector of Weights and Measures for the month of <br />April 1955, was examined and ordered filed. It was-noted that City Sealer, <br />Bert S. Cichowicz was elected on April 23, 1955 Executive Director of <br />the Weights and Measures Inspector's Association of Indiana. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board,the meeting <br />adjourned at 11 :05 A.
