Mr. <br />I. A. Hurwich was absent. <br />Minutes <br />of the previous-meeting were read and approved. J. Gillen, <br />bringing attention to his <br />departmentts need for six new four-door <br />sedans. Funds having been appropriated for this purpose, and <br />six <br />trade-ins being available, the Board granted approval and directed the <br />Clerk to proceed with the <br />required legal advertising. <br />The Police Auxiliary School Patrol application of Elsie M. <br />Fenters <br />was examined and ordered placed on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />Supt. Ira Hunsbergerts <br />4000 lumen light <br />recommendation for the installation <br />of a <br />on Campeau Street, <br />the Board. <br />near Bader Avenue, was approved by <br />Petitions for improved lighting at the railroad crossings on Florence <br />Street and on Sibley Avenue, were referred to supt. Ira Hunsberger for <br />investigation .anal recommendation. <br />The Board then reviewed bids received and opened at the previous <br />regular meeting, for wire and other supplies and equipment requiredlby, <br />the Electrical Department. In accord with the recommendation of Sup'."t-, <br />Hunsberger, contract was awarded The Gamewell Company for the required <br />
