These were found to be in com- <br />liance with provisions of contracts and were ordered filed. <br />The Board next examined certificate of insurance, surety bond, and other <br />apers and correspondence with reference to construction of addition to <br />ire Station No. 4. These papers, having been found in order, the Board <br />irected their proper filing. <br />OLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />The request of the F.O.P. to conduct their annual Police Show was <br />laced before the Board. Captain M. J. Voelkel, being present, advised <br />he Board of the dates of July 25, 26, and 27th as the time set for the <br />olding of this show. No objections being offered, the Board unanimously <br />ranted the request. <br />Request for permission to p�irchase one three -wheel motorcycle was <br />xt granted by the Board, and the Clerk was directed to proceed with <br />e required legal advertising forbids. <br />Request for permission to purchase an additional ambulance type <br />ehicle for the Police Department was next considered, and funds having <br />een appropriated to supply this equipment, the Board directed the Clerk <br />o proceed with the required legal advertising for bids. <br />Police Department application of Ralph J. Wolfe was examined and <br />dered placed on file. <br />RE DEPARTMENT: <br />The Board examined Fire Department application of Richard V. Brekrus, <br />ted,April 5, 1954, filed in,lieu of the original copy which was misplaced, <br />d ordered this placed on file. <br />ECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />Superintendent Ira Hunsberggerrs recommendation, that a 4000 lumen light <br />b installed in the center of 36th - Street, at the Grand Trunk Western <br />c ossing, was accepted by the,Board and the installation was so ordered. <br />A' <br />i <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />s adjourned at 11 :40 A.
