Duck, being present, brought to the Boardts <br />attention his departmentts need for additional fire hose. Funds being <br />available, appropriated for such purpose, sufficient to purchase 250 <br />feet, the Clerk was directed to proceed to order that amount. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />Chief of Police, Richard J. Gillen, being present, recommended the <br />appointment of Michael Greszcyk, an employee of Goldblatt Brothers <br />Department Store,.as a special police officer in and for the City of <br />South Bend. Appointment was approved by the Board. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 11 :45 A.
