Mr. Gilot noted the Board allows twenty -four hours for the bidder to <br />produce the bid bond, and it must be dated prior to today's Board meeting to show the bond was <br />purchased with the intent to submit it with the bid. If Kann cannot produce a pre -dated bid bond <br />or cashier's check, their bid will be found non - responsive, Mr. Gilot added. * <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above bids were <br />referred to Solid Waste and Equipment Services for review and recommendation. <br />* (A bid security check from Kann Manufacturing was found by the Clerk in the envelope that <br />Kann submitted their bid in, after the meeting adjourned.) <br />OPENING OF BIDS — TWO (2) MORE OR LESS 2010 OR NEWER 33 CUBIC YARD SIDE - <br />LOADING REFUSE TRUCKS (SOLID WASTE RENTALS /CAPITAL LEASE PAYMENTS) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News, which were found to be sufficient.
