Public Hearings <br /> <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2768, an <br />additional appropriation resolution of the <br />City of South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission (South Bend Central <br />Development Area) <br /> <br />Ms. Leonard noted that Resolution No. 2768 <br />appropriates an additional $750,000 for <br />projects staff is working on. The funds were <br />not in the budget at the time of the <br />appropriation at the beginning of the year <br />because the county has been a year behind in <br />its tax distribution. However, the city has <br />received its first pay 2010 tax distribution on <br />time and there are additional revenues we can <br />appropriate. <br /> <br />Mr. Inks noted that the public hearing file is <br />complete, containing a copy of Resolution <br />No. 2767 determining to make the <br />appropriation and setting the public hearing <br />on Resolution No. 2768; a copy of the Notice <br />of Hearing; a copy of Resolution No. 2768, <br />the subject of the public hearing; an affidavit <br />from Jacki Krolczyk, Advertising Director of <br />the South Bend Tribune, that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that newspaper on <br />September 24, 2010; and an affidavit from <br />Richard Andrysiak, Classified Manager of <br />the Tri-County News, that the Notice of <br /> 4 <br /> <br />
