11 <br />August 16, 1954 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held Monday, <br />ugust 16, 1954, at 10 :00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the <br />revious meeting were read and approved. The quotation submitted being <br />easonable for the installation of overhead doors, the Board directed <br />he Clerk to issue formal purchase order authorizing Mr. Aulm to proceed <br />ith the work. <br />A petition for a street light to be installed between the 1200 and <br />00 block of 29th Street was received by the Board and was referred to <br />. Ira Hunsberger for investigation and recommendation. <br />A petition for a street light to be installed near LaSalle Park <br />mprovement League was received by the Board and referred to Mr. Hunsberger <br />or investigation and report. <br />Chief Gillen appeared before the Board and submitted Police Applications <br />or Winston Augyle Vaz and Max Alvin Reeder, and after examination the <br />oard ordered.,,,these applications placed on file. <br />Application for Police Auxiliary School Patrol of Ida Mae Smith was <br />fined and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />a adjourned at 11:20 A.
