Garson <br />4.50 <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />The Board rescinded its action of April 5, 1954 in accepting the <br />bid of Englewood Electrical Supply Company for the supplying of wire <br />and cable, for the reason that said bid was not accompanied by a non - <br />collusion affidavit properly executed. The bid of The McCaffery Company <br />was then accepted by the Board and the Clerk was directed to issue the <br />required purchase order. <br />The recommendation of Superintendent Ira Hunsberger was approved <br />for the installation of a 4000 lumen light at the following three locations: <br />Southeast corner of the intersection of Ironwood Drive <br />and Country Club Lane South <br />Southeast corner of the intersection of Ironwood Drive <br />and Country Club Lane North <br />In rear of 613 E. Jefferson Boulevard on Pole No. J259 -744. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: <br />Chief of Police, Richard J. Gillen, appeared before the Board and <br />presented the papers for appointment of James S. King as a special police <br />officer, in the employ of Ernie's Protection Service, 601 E. Klinger Street. <br />The Board approved the appointment, which was signed and sealed forthwith. <br />Police Department applications of Lawrence E. Early and Oliver J. <br />Kushto were examined and ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />meeting.was adjourned at 11 :30 A.
