REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 13 2010 272 need to research the Board's required actions and prepare a Memorandum regarding the issue. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the above bids were referred to Engineering and Community and Economic Development for review and recommendation. OPENING OF BIDS -SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced vehicles. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News, which were found to be sufficient. Linda Martin, Clerk, informed the Board that the bid from Michael Walter was handed to her during the meeting at 9:40 a.m. No bids were opened at that point, all bids were sealed, and the bidder had no advantage by submitting his bid late. After review, Ms. Kathy Eli, Code Enforcement, recommended the award of the vehicles to the highest responsible bidders as noted in bold above. Upon a motion by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the award recommendations were approved. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - TWO (2) MORE OR LESS, DIGITAL DUPLICATORS FOR PRINT SHOP (CENTRAL SERVICES OPERATING BUDGET) Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referenced project.
