Michigan Streeet, <br />,,umbering funds to <br />The report of R. F. Mahone concerning need for improved lighting <br />on Bendix Drive from Western Avenue to Washington, was referred to <br />Supt. Ira Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />Petition bearing twelve signatures of residents in the 700 block <br />East Oakside, calling for improved lighting at the intersection of <br />Erskine Boulevard and Oakside, stipulating, however, that no change be <br />made in the location of this light, was referred by the Board to Supt. <br />Hunsberger for his investigation and recommendations. <br />The recommendation of Supt. Hunsberger,,for the installation of <br />a 4000 lumen light at each of the following locations, was given the <br />approval of the Board: <br />Intersection of Wellington Street and Elwood Avenue <br />Intersection of Wellington Street and Bulla Street <br />Intersection of Wellington Street and Keller Street <br />Intersection of Illinois Street and Keller Street <br />Northwest corner Bowman and Leer Street intersection <br />Southwest corner Green Street and Goodland Avenue inter- <br />section. <br />The Board sustained the findings of Supt. Hunsberger, in connection <br />with request for street light at southwest corner of Gertrude Street, <br />and Fairview Avenue, investigation having shown this location to be <br />more than 300 feet from existing street lighting circuit. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 11:30 A.M. <br />Attests <br />Clerk <br />1 <br />
