REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 11, 2010 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Rouse stated that in light of Councilmember’s White and Dieter’s <br />absence tonight and that they still have time to vote on these bills he motioned to <br />continue Bill Nos. 53-10 as amended and 54-10 for second and third reading until the <br />October 25, 2010 meeting of the Council in the Council Portion Only. Councilmember <br />Henry Davis seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of seven (7) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />BILL NO. 25-10 PUBLIC HEARING ON A BILL OF THE <br /> COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING VARIOUS <br /> SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 6 OF <br /> THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> PERTAINING TO TAX ABATEMENTS <br /> <br />nd <br />Councilmember Varner made a motion to accept the 2 Substitute version of this bill. <br />Councilmember Oliver Davis seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of <br />seven (7) ayes. Additionally, Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to continue <br />nd <br />this 2 Substitute Bill until the November 8, 2010 meeting of the Council at the request <br />of the petitioner.
