C <br />I <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: <br />Superintendent 1ra Hunsberger, being present, took up with the <br />Board the matter of improved street lighting requested by the New York <br />Central Railroad Company at the railway crossings at Kendall, Chapin <br />and Catalpa Streets. The matter was discussed briefly, and the Board <br />directed.Superintendent Hunsberger to proceed to make the installations <br />necessary to improve lighting conditions at all three locations. <br />Superintendent Hunsbergerts recommendation for the following <br />installations was approved by the Board: <br />6000 <br />lumen light - <br />4000 <br />lumen light - <br />4000 <br />lumen light - <br />4000 <br />lumen light - <br />Northeast corner Prairie Avenue <br />and Warren Street <br />Northwest corner Delaware and <br />Warren Streets <br />Northwest corner Ford and <br />Chicago Streets <br />Northwest corner Huron and <br />Chicago Streets. <br />m <br />A petition for installation of street light at the northwest corner <br />of Colfax Avenue and Coquillard Drive was examined by the Board and <br />referred to Superintendent Hunsberger for investigation and report. <br />The Fire Departmentts injury Report for the month of April was <br />examined and ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the <br />ting adjourned at 11:45 A. M. <br />tte s t : <br />Clerk <br />may 18, 1953 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of <br />Public Safety was held Monday, <br />ay 18, 1953 at 10:00 A. M. All <br />members were present. Minutes of <br />the <br />revious meeting were read and <br />approved.
