Jefferson Blvd. <br />South Bend, 1N 46601 <br />re: Substitute Submission of an Ordinance Levying Taxes and Fixing Rate of Taxation to Meet City <br />Expenses for 2011 <br />Dear Council President Dieter: <br />Attached herewith please find a bill for Common Council consideration fixing the City of South Bend's <br />property tax rate for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2011. This tax rate will apply for property tax <br />assessments in fiscal 2010 with tax payable in fiscal 2011. <br />The substitute ordinance attached is submitted for 1~ read filing and reading on Monday August 23, 2010. <br />I will present the aforementioned bill at the Common Council's appropriate Personas & Finance <br />Committee meeting and at the public hearing intended for September 27, 2010. <br />Respectively submitted, <br />Gregg D. i nt a <br />cc: Stephen J.
