In light of the current economic climate and <br />the challenges facing our city, it is believed that this action would be in the best <br />interest of the citizens which we serve. <br />Ann Puzzello I realize that this would be the 4`h year in a row that the legislative branch of <br />Fourth District government would not be receiving a salary increase. As elected public officials, we <br />David Varner are charged with the duty to "manage the finances of the city". Passage of the <br />Fifth District attached ordinance would confirm our belief that "fiscal restraint is required during <br />these tough economic times". <br />Oliver J.
