ORDINANCE NO <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INrJIANA APPROPRIATING $27b,780 WITHIN FUND 212 FROM THE U.S. <br />DEPARTMENT GF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT SHELTER PLUS <br />CARE GRANT PROGRAM <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />In order to deliver services to seriously physically and mentally ill individuals <br />within uur community, The City of South Bend received funds from the U. S. <br />Departrr~ent of Housing and Urban Development for the delivery of such services through <br />various subgrantees. The funds appropriated in this ordinance will aid in defraying the <br />casts of housing and related services. <br />1iOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Comrr~an Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $276,780 is hereby appropriated in Fund 212 and shall <br />be administered by the Department of Community & Economic Development and its <br />designated subgrantees as noted below: <br />Madisa^ Center IN0087C5H000901 $ 92,520 (918110-9/7/11) Scattered Site <br />Madison. Center IN0009C5H000802 $141,120 (08/1/10-7/31/11) Gateway <br />Madison Center INOOlOCSH000802 $ 42,840 (8129110-$/28/11) Perm. Hsing <br />TOTAL $276,780 <br />SECTION II.
