ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COIVIMOIV COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ANNEXING <br />TO AND BRINGING WITHIN <br />THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN <br />CLAY TOWNSHIP, CONTIGUOUS THEREWITH; <br />COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT: 4 <br />E. Leroy & Patricia Yoder <br />37904 State Road 23 <br />South Bend, Indiana 46635 <br />5TATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />A Petition for the voluntary annexation and for the zoning of 0.27 acres Iocated in <br />Clay Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, has been filed by 100% of the owners of the Iand in the territory <br />sought to be annexed and zoned. It is the intent and purpose of this Ordinance to annex this territory to the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, and to establish a zoning district for this territory. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana as .follows: <br />5ECTiON I. That the following described ,real estate situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, being contiguous <br />by more than one-eight {1/$) of its aggregate external boundaiies with the present boundaries of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, shall be and hereby is annexed to and brought within the City of South Bend: <br />A parcel of land being a part of the West half of Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 38 Forth, Mange 3 <br />East, Clay Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Southwest comer of Lot 238 Maple Lane Subdivision; thence !North along the West line of <br />said Lot 238 and its projection 1Vorlh to the ldorthwesferty right-of way line of State Road 23; thence <br />Afortheasterfy along said IVorthwesterlyright of--way line of Stafe Road 23 to its intersection with the Northerly <br />projection of the East line of said Lot 238; thence South along the East line of said Lot 238 and its projection <br />!North to the Southeast comer of said Lot 23$; thence West along the South Iine of said Lot 238, a distance of <br />49.30 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Yoder{?rdinenceWthRemning. t!x <br />
