SPECIAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 2 2010 72 <br />The Board of Public Safety met in the Executive Session on Thursday, September 2, 2410, at 9 :00 <br />a.m. The meeting was held in the Mayor's Conference Room, 14th Floor, County City Building, <br />South Bend, Indiana, for the purposes specified in I.C. 5- 14- 1.5 -6.1 (b) (6) (A) & (B). President <br />Juanita Dempsey and Board Members Patrick Cottrell, Bruce J. BonDurant, Laura Vasquez, and <br />Eddie Miller were present. Attorney Joseph Simeri was also present. Board members did not <br />discuss any subject matter other than the subject matter as specified in the Public Notice. Martin, Clerk <br />SPECIAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 2 2010 <br />The Board of Public Safety met in a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010 <br />with President Juanita Dempsey and Board Members Patrick Cottrell, Bruce J. BonDurant, Laura <br />Vasquez, and Eddie Miller present. Also present during the session were Fire Chief Howard <br />Buchanon; Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar; Special Counsel Joseph Simeri; Attorney for Jordan <br />Jostes, Thomas Lewis, 111; and Firefighter Jordan Jostes. A court reporter from St. Clair Court <br />Reporting was present to record the Hearing. The Hearing was held in the Common Council <br />Chambers, 4`h Floor, County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />HEARING — CHARGE 2010 -05 — FIREFIGHTER JORDAN JOSTES <br />The Hearing was recorded by a Court Reporter from St. Clair Court Reporting. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />President Dempsey stated that the Board would present their findings at the next regularly scheduled <br />Board of Safety Meeting of September 15, 2010.
