Indiana Avenue. <br />The private club that occupies this property <br />has decided to accept the purchase offer of <br />$24,000, but they need relocation assistance <br />to acquire and make improvements to a new <br />building for their move. Because City <br />ordinance allows private clubs to locate only <br />in Local Business or Mixed Use zoned areas, <br />this limits where the club can relocate. <br />Additionally, private clubs need a special <br />exception to locate even in these two zoned <br />areas. <br /> <br />The club has found a building currently for <br />sale in a Mixed Use zoned area. They have <br />made an offer to purchase, contingent on the <br />Commission’s relocation assistance approval, <br />and the special exception and variances they <br />need. The building was originally listed in <br />2007 for $144,900, later reduced to <br /> 19 <br /> <br />
