Airport Economic Development Area <br /> <br />(16) continued… <br /> <br />Construction site on Fellows St. Now staff <br />would like to proceed with acquisition of <br />1313 Prairie. Two independent appraisals <br />have established the acquisition offering <br />price of $189,000. Staff recommends <br />approving Resolution No. 2712. setting <br />$189,000 as the offering price and <br />authorizing the sending of a purchase offer <br />for the property. <br /> <br />CRN.2712 <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED ESOLUTION O <br />RELATED TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN THE <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />AEDA <br />IRPORT CONOMIC EVELOPMENT REA <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2712 <br />(1313PA.) <br /> RAIRIE VE <br />related to acquisition of property in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area (1313 <br />Prairie Ave.) <br /> <br /> <br />(17) Resolution No. 2713 approving and <br />accepting a counteroffer for the <br />acquisition of property in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area (1313 Prairie <br />Ave.) <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that the owner of 1313 <br />Prairie Ave. has made a counter offer in the <br />amount of $204,000. The purchase price <br />JVH had negotiated with Bestway Towing <br />was $195,000. JVH also had additional <br />holding costs incurred while staff was <br />helping to find another site for Bestway. <br />JVH’s counter offer reflects those <br />considerations.
