maintained at the site during the progress of the work. In order to obtain inspections <br />the permittee shall notify the City of South Bend Division of Engineering at least two <br />(2) working days before the following: <br />a. Start of construction <br />b. Erosion and sediment control measures are in place and stabilized <br />c. Site clearing has been completed <br />d. Rough grading has been completed <br />e. Final grading has been completed <br />f. Commencement of work after twenty (20) calendar days of no work <br />g. Finallandscaping. <br />2. The permittee or his/her agent shall make regular inspections of all control <br />measures. All inspections shall be documented in written form and submitted to the <br />City of South Bend Engineering Department. Inspections are to occur as follows: <br />a. Inspect after each rain event <br />b. Inspect once every two (2) weeks during construction activities <br />c. Inspect once every month during periods ofnon-activity <br />3. The SDP shall be displayed at all times on the site. <br />4. The Engineering Department of the City of South Bend or its designee reserves <br />the right to do random inspections when deemed necessary by the City Engineer or <br />his designee. <br />Section 17-125. Enforcement <br />The City of South Bend or any designated agent of the City shall have the authority to enforce <br />this ordinance. Said agent or the City of South Bend shall also have the authority to issue a stop <br />work order at any time if deemed necessary in accordance with the following schedule of violations: <br />(a) First offense -written Notification of Violation that requires a correction within ten (1) <br />working days. <br />-9- <br />
