Ordinance No. l b ~ ~ - ~ ~o An Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Transferring from the Common Council's Personnel Services Fund # 10 to the Common Council's Promotional Fund # 33 the Sum of $2,400 and Appropriating $ 2,400 for Promotional Expenditures Statement of Purpose and Intent Earlier this year the South Bend Common Council established as one of its primary goals for 2006 to make South Bend a safer city. Consistent with that goal, the Council would like to sponsor ten (10) youth between the ages of 10 to 14 years of age, so that they will be able to attend an 8-week Youth Camp at the Martin Luther King Center. The transfer of funds and appropriation process would enable this sponsorship to take place. ~at~, ~~ex,~e, ~c e ~ ~x~~ by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: Section I. The sum of two thousand four hundred dollars ($ 2,400.00) is decreased and hereby transferred from: Common Council Personnel Services Permanent Part Time 101-0301-411.10-09 and is increased and transferred to: Common Council Personnel Services Promotional 101-0301-411.33-03 Section II. The sum of two thousand four hundred dollars ($ 2,400.00) is hereby appropriated and set aside within Common Council's Promotional Fund # 33 to be used for the following expenditure: $2,400.00 To fund sponsorship/partnership with Ark Angels so that ten (10) youth may attend an 8-week summer camp at the Martin Luther King Center Section III.
