A VACANT, TRIANGULAR SHAPED PARCEL BOUNDED ON THE EAST BY <br />MEADE STREET, ON THE NORTH BY LAWTON STREET AND THE <br />SOUTHWEST SIDE BY WASHINGTON STREET; <br />b.) FOUR VACANT LOTS LYING NORTH AND ADJACENT TO LAWTON <br />STREET FROM MEADE STREET WEST 160 FEET TO THE FIRST <br />NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY WEST OF MEADE STREET; <br />c.) FOUR VACANT LOTS LYING SOUTH AND ADJACENT TO KENWOOD <br />AVENUE FROM MEADE STREET WEST 160 FEET TO THE FIRST <br />NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY WEST OF MEADE STREET; <br />d.) EIGHT VACANT LOT FROM KENWOOD AVENUE NORTH TO BERTRAND <br />STREET BEING 160 FEET IN WIDTH, EAST AND WEST, FROM MEADE <br />STREET WEST TO THE FIRST NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY WEST OF MEADE <br />STREET. <br />COUNCILMANIC 2"d DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />These parcel are requested to be rezoned from SF2 Single Family and Two Family District; <br />and GB General Business District to LI Light Industrial District to allow the Bosch <br />Corporation to expand their facility. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana as follows: <br />SECTION I. Ordinance No. 9495-04, is amended, which ordinance is commonly known as <br />the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is <br />amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the <br />City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: <br />Lots 80 through 82 inclusive, Lots 84 through 89 inclusive, and Lots 93 through 96 inclusive <br />of West End Subdivision; Lots 69 through 72 inclusive, and Lots 85 through 88 inclusive of <br />Kaley's 1St Addition; and Lots 121 through 124 inclusive of Kaleys' 2"~ Subdivision <br />be and the same is hereby established as LI Light Industrial District. <br />SECTION ll.
