ORDINANCE NO. "l ~ob~ ~ ~ ~° <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA APPROPRIATING $225,000 RECEIVED <br />FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOR THE WEED & <br />SEED PROGRAM <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In order to deliver services to individuals within our community, the City of South <br />Bend received funds from the U.S. Department of Justice to insure the delivery of <br />programs, projects and services. The funds appropriated in this ordinance will aid in the <br />defraying of costs of programming within the designated Weed & Seed neighborhoods. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: <br />Section I. The sum of $225,000 is hereby appropriated within Fund 212 for use <br />under the guidelines of the U.S. Department of Justice Weed & Seed Program. <br />Section II.
