BonDurant; Member <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION SEPTEMBER 27, 2007 <br />The Board of Public Safety met in the Executive Session on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at 8:17 <br />a.m. The meeting was held in the Mayor's Conference Room, 14`" Floor, County City Building, <br />South Bend, Indiana, for the purposes specified in I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b) (2) (B) and (b) (6) (A). <br />President Jesusa Rodriguez and Board Members Juanita Dempsey, Bruce J. BonDurant and Patrick <br />Cottrell were present. Board Member Donald Alford was absent. Also present were Attorney <br />Thomas Bodnar, Police Chief Thomas Fautz, and Fire Chief Howard Buchanon. Board members did <br />not discuss any subject matter other than the subject matter as specified in the Public Notice. The <br />meeting adjourned at 9:13 a.m. <br />1 <br />ATTEST: <br />L nda M. BonDurant, Member <br />RE-CONVENED SESSION SEPTEMBER 27, 2007 <br />The Board of Public Safety re-convened their special meeting at 9:18 a.m. on Thursday, September <br />27, 2007, with President Jesusa Rodriguez and Board Members Patrick Cottrell, Juanita Dempsey <br />and Bruce J. BonDurant present. Board Member Donald Alford was not present. Also present <br />during the session were Fire Chief Howard Buchanon, Police Chief Thomas Fautz, and Board <br />Attorney Thomas Bodnar, The meeting was held in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room,13`t' <br />Floor, County-City Building, South Bend, Indiana. <br />APPROVE TERMINATION -CHARGE 07-04 -ENGINEER SHANE RICHARDS <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Cottrell, seconded by Ms. Dempsey and carved, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of Fire Chief Howard Buchanon to terminate Engineer Shane Richards, effective <br />today, September 27, 2007. <br />
