REGULAR MEETING JUNE 14, 2010 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Nevin Siqueira, President, Value Production, Inc. 51700 Bluffside Ct., Granger, <br />Indiana, made the presentation for this bill. <br /> <br />Mr. Siqueira advised that the market place is changing in manufacturing and reducing the <br />number of suppliers. He stated that Value Production is a modern production machining <br />facility. They provide one-stop shopping for design, prototypes, and production, and it is <br />an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. He stated that they plan to purchase a new, Swiss <br />lathe, 2 Mazak horizontal machining centers and a pallet control center for their custom <br />manufacturing needs. Mr. Siqueira stated that this will help them stay as one of the top <br />production facilities. <br /> <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time. <br /> <br />There was no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in <br />opposition to this Resolution, Councilmember Varner made a motion to adopt this <br />Resolution. Councilmember Varner made a motion to refer this bill to the <br />Area Plan Commission.
