Airport Economic Development Area

(7) continued…

company who has been doing previous work
on a project or in an area, presuming their
experience would add value to their price or
product. Other times we put out an RFP. It
depends on the project.

Mr. Varner asked if the project opens up land
for development. Mr. Schalliol responded
that it would open up land for more hangers
or another fixed based operator. The county
has a lot of acreage out that way; it could
open up developable land there. But one of
the benefits is that it does a lot of “looping”
of networks. It increases fire protection and
sewer collection. Mr. Inks noted that Trade
Drive might someday be made a through
street.

CRN.2687
Upon a motion by Mr. Alford, seconded by
OMMISSION APPROVED ESOLUTION O
AM
APPROVING AN DDENDUM TO THE ASTER
Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the
AA(TDP)
GENCY GREEMENT RADE RIVE ROJECT
Commission approved Resolution No. 2687
approving an Addendum to the Master
Agency Agreement (Trade Drive Project)

(8) Resolution No. 2699 approving and
authorizing the execution of an Addendum
to the Master Agency Agreement (Phase II
Environmental Site Assessment at Former
South Bend Lathe & Huckins Sites)

Ms. Kolata noted that Resolution No. 2699
amends the Master Agency Agreement
(Agreement) between the Redevelopment
Commission and the Board of Public Works
by adding the Phase II Environmental Site
Assessment at the former South Bend Lathe
14
