DEROSE <br />CHIEF ASSISTANT CIT Y AFTORNEY <br />Re: Ordinance Amending 2010 Non Bargaining Employees' Salary Ordinance #9959 -09 <br />Dear President Deiter: <br />It was recently brought to my attention that the attachment to the 2010 Non Bargaining Employee <br />Salary Ordinance #9959 -09 did not include four City job positions, one of which is the City Code Director <br />held by Catherine Toppel. Upon investigation I discovered that Ord. #9959 -09 as originally tiled <br />contained a fill, complete list of all City positions (copy of original attachment is included with this letter), <br />except for that of Director - Energy Conservation (a new position in 2010). <br />On September 28, 2009 a substitute version of Bill #9959 -09 was filed with the Council which <br />was solely intended to add the new "Director- Energy Conservation" position (a copy of Mr. Zientara's <br />cover letter to that effect is also attached). Regrettably, it now appears that the Ordinance Attachment of <br />September 28, 2009 listing that new position, inadvertently deleted the four City personnel positions which <br />had been included in the originally filed ordinance. <br />An ordinance correcting the technical error in the attachment to 2010 Salary Ordinance #9959 -09 <br />is being submitted to you. City Controller Gregg Zientara will mare the necessary presentations to the <br />Council at committee meeting and public hearing. <br />Thank you for your understanding and consideration. <br />1nC ly, <br />Aladean M.
