This
simple act drew multiple compliments from
area businesses and passersby.

To continue our efforts at this highly visible
corner, staff would like to plant 18 Crab
Apple trees on the grassy lot two lots south
of Jefferson. Total cost, including the trees
and their planting is $4,900.

In addition, there are 12 missing trees along
the “S” curve by Crowe. The current trees
along this stretch are Ash, and with the
Emerald Ash Borer, the City Forester
suggests replacing the missing trees with
Honey Locust. There are also 2 missing Pear
trees near the intersection of Wayne and
Lafayette, for a total of 14 trees. Total cost
for this area is $4,400.

Total cost of these two quotes is $9,300.
Staff requests your approval of these quotes.

C
Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by
OMMISSION APPROVED THE LANDSCAPING OF
C
OMMISSION OWNED PROPERTY DOWNTOWN
Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the
Commission approved the landscaping of
additional Commission owned property
downtown.

E.
