Airport Economic Development Area <br /> <br />(1) continued… <br /> <br /> the industrial park. <br /> <br />The fee for the Tasks 1-3 of the proposal is <br />expected to be $32,535.00 with costs for <br />Bidding & Negotiation (Task 4) and <br />Construction Inspection (Task 5) to be <br />charged as time and materials. Staff asks for <br />approval of Tasks 1-4 at this time with a Not- <br /> <br />To-Exceed amount of $40,000.00.Staff <br />would bring Task 5 back to the Commission <br />as part of a project proposal for the final <br />development of the scope of work. <br /> <br />C <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Alford, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />DH&AP <br />ANCH ARNER SSOCIATES FOR LANNING <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />DS <br />AND ESIGN ERVICES RELATED TO <br />Commission approved the proposal from <br />O <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN AND AROUND LIVER <br />Danch Harner & Associates for Planning and <br />IP <br />NDUSTRIAL ARK IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />Design Services related to improvements in <br />$40,000 <br />EXCEED <br />and around Oliver Industrial Park in an <br />amount not to exceed $40,000. <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Request from the Studebaker Drivers <br />Club to provide tours of the Studebaker <br />Engineering Building May 7, 2010 during <br />a regional meet of the Drivers Club. <br /> <br />Staff has been approached by the local <br />Studebaker Drivers Club, which on May 7 is <br />having a regional meet in South Bend. <br />Knowing that the Engineering building will <br />be demolished in the next year, and this may <br />be the last time some of their members will <br />have a chance to visit the building, the <br />Drivers’ Club has asked if they can give <br />guided tours of the building to interested <br />members. <br /> 19 <br /> <br />
