Also, there is no <br />pedestrian connection along Ireland from <br />Fellows to Miami. That could be added. <br /> <br />Mr. Downes asked how confident the <br />engineers are that this plan will have the <br />desired result. Mr. Schalliol responded they <br />are very confident. The water table in that <br />area is so low that when the ponds are <br />cleaned, the sandy soil there will allow good <br />drainage. <br /> <br />Ms. King commented that the problem with <br />the existing ponds is they have not been <br />maintained. The Southside contains a lot of <br />retention ponds that are well maintained. No <br />one complains about them. They are an <br />amenity. <br /> <br />Ms. King also commented on the process that <br />took place in regard to this pond problem. <br />She felt there was healthy interaction with <br />the public, with staff and Commissioners <br />listening to their concerns and coming back <br />with a plan acceptable to all. Mr. Schalliol <br />told the Commissioners that the Hawbaker <br />neighbors were impressed that the <br />Commission listened to and considered their <br />concerns. They appreciated that. <br /> <br />CRR <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED EVISED ESOLUTION <br />N.2667 <br />O CONFIRMING A RESOLUTION <br />Ms. King and unanimously carried, the <br />DP <br />AMENDING THE EVELOPMENT LAN FOR THE <br />Commission approved Revised Resolution <br />SSDA <br />OUTH IDE EVELOPMENT REA AND ADDING <br />No. 2667 confirming a resolution amending <br />LP <br />ONE OR MORE PARCELS TO THE IST OF ARCELS <br />the Development Plan for the South Side <br />A <br />TO BE CQUIRED <br />Development Area and adding one or more <br />parcels to the List of Parcels to be Acquired. <br /> 10 <br /> <br />
