South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting –April 9, 2010 is complete, containing a copy of declaratory Resolution No. 2655 amending the development plan for the South Bend Central Development Area; a copy of the Area Plan Commission’s Resolution No. 208-10 approving the declaratory resolution; a copy of the South Bend Common Council’s Resolution No. 4020-10 approving the Area Plan Commission’s Resolution No. 208-10; a copy of the Notice of Hearing; a copy of Resolution No. 2666; and affidavits from the advertising directors of the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News confirming that the Notice of Hearing was published in those newspapers on March 26, 2010; a statement from Bill Schalliol that on March 31, 2010 affected property owners and neighborhood associations were sent the Notice of Hearing. The mail was checked prior to this meeting and as of 10:00 a.m., there were no written remonstrances to Resolution No. 2666. Mr. Schalliol noted that Resolution No. 2666 would add nine parcels to the South Bend Central Development Area List of Properties to be Acquired. The properties are all part of 122 S. Niles Ave., the former Troegger Sheet Metal property. PHRN.2666 Ms. Jones opened the public hearing for UBLIC EARING ON ESOLUTION O whoever wished to speak regarding Resolution No. 2666. There was no one who wished to speak. Ms. Jones closed the public hearing for whatever action the Commission wished to take.
