It runs right <br />through the retention ponds. Just be aware of <br />that. <br /> <br />Ms. Jones asked if there was anyone else <br />who wished to speak regarding Resolution <br />No. 2667. There was no one else who <br />wished to speak. Ms. Jones closed the public <br />hearing for whatever action the Commission <br />wished to take. <br /> <br /> <br />(8) Approval of Resolution No. 2667 <br /> <br />Mr. Downes said he has many questions. <br />Can anyone affirm for us, did we notify <br />neighboring businesses? <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol responded that, based on state <br />law, notices go to the property owners whose <br />properties will be added to the Acquisition <br />List and to affected registered neighborhood <br />associations in time to be received at least ten <br />days before the public hearing. These <br />notices were mailed three weeks before the <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Downes said he heard a lot of conflicting <br />information about how long people have <br />known about the potential purchase of their <br />properties. Some mentioned knowing a year <br />ago, some said they didn’t get notice until <br />two weeks ago. <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that about a year and a <br />half ago, about the time we finished the <br />intersection of Miami and Ireland, we noticed <br />the property at Arby’s was flooding badly, <br />the ponds were seeing an increase in water. <br />About that same time we put a sensor into the <br /> 32 <br /> <br />
