~~` <br />Fv ~/1~:? <br />~'~ ~ COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br />APRIL 12, 2010 <br />Chairperson Timothy Rouse, called the Community and Economic Development <br />Committee meeting to order at 3:35 p.m. <br />Committee Members Present: Ann Puzzello, Henry Davis, Karen White <br />Other Councilmember's Present: Tom LaFountain, David Varner, Oliver Davis, Al <br />"Buddy" Kirsits <br />Other's Present: David Relos, Don Inks, Lisa Bognar, Gary Gilot, Brad Toothaker, Rita <br />Kopala <br />Agenda: Bill No. 10-15 -Amendment to the Airport Economic Development Area <br />Bill No. 10-15 -Amendment to the Airport Economic Development Area <br />Chairperson Rouse informed the Council that a request to continue the bill until the next <br />meeting on April 26, 2010 had been filed. Councilmember White made a motion to <br />continue this bill until the Apri126, 2010 meeting of the Council. Councilmember <br />Puzzello seconded and all agreed. <br />Miscellaneous matters <br />Under this portion of the agenda Councilmember White raised again the issued of the <br />cost of the Re-Store project and use of TIF dollars in general. Given the City request to <br />continue Bill 10-15, Chairperson Rouse called for a special meeting of the Community <br />and Economic Development Committee. It would be the second meeting of his <br />committee to examine and evaluate ways by which the Council could play a more <br />significant role in setting Redevelopment Commission strategies and priorities for <br />development. The meeting is set for Thursday, Apri122, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council <br />Informal Meeting Room. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, Chairperson <br />Rouse adjourned the meeting at 3:42 p.m. <br />Respectfully Sub fitted, <br />Timothy A.
