This area is plagued by vacant lots, empty housing, and substandard
commercial and rental units. Staff in the past met twice with the Rum Village
Neighborhood Association, which strongly supports the redevelopment of this area.
This study aroma encompasses the west side of Taylor Street as its eastern boundary and
Prairie Avenue as the western boundary. This area consists of 50 vacant lots, 6 vacant
THOMAS L. BODNAR CHERYL A. GREENS ANN-CAROL NASH
JEFFREY M. JANKOWSKI LAWRENCE J. METEIVER JEFFREY L. SANFORD JOHN E. BRODEN
