South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting –April 9, 2010 <br /> <br />LP <br />confirming a resolution amending the <br />ONE OR MORE PARCELS TO THE IST OF ARCELS <br />A <br />TO BE CQUIRED <br />development plan for the South Bend Central <br />Development Area and adding one or more <br />parcels to the List of Parcels to be Acquired. <br /> <br /> <br />(7) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2667 <br />confirming a resolution amending the <br />Development Plan for the South Side <br />Development Area and adding one or <br />more parcels to the List of Parcels to be <br />Acquired. <br /> <br />Mr. Mathia noted that the public hearing file <br />is complete, containing a copy of Resolution <br />No. 2658 amending the Development Plan of <br />the South Side Development Area; a copy of <br />the Area Plan Commission’s Resolution No. <br />209-10 approving the declaratory resolution; <br />a copy of the South Bend Common Council’s <br />Resolution No. 4021-10 approving the Area <br />Plan Commission’s Resolution No. 209-10; a <br />copy of the Notice of Hearing; a copy of <br />Resolution No. 2667; and affidavits from the <br />advertising directors of the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri-County News confirming <br />that the Notice of Hearing was published in <br />those newspapers on March 26, 2010; a <br />statement from Bill Schalliol that on <br />March 31, 2010 affected property owners and <br />neighborhood associations were sent the <br />Notice of Hearing. The mail was checked <br />prior to this meeting and as of 10:00 a.m., <br />there were four written remonstrances to <br />Resolution No. 2667. <br /> <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Resolution 2667 <br />would add six (6) properties to the <br />acquisition list for the South Side <br />Development Area. These properties are part <br />of the site area proposed for the Erskine <br />Plaza drainage pond project. The process to <br />add these properties to the Acquisition List <br /> 7 <br /> <br />
