REGULAR MEETING APPLICANT: BUSINESS ADDRESS: DAYSITIMES OF OPERATION: MARCH 22, 2010 90 Trio's Restaurant & Jazz Club 129 North Michigan Street Daily, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Mr. Littrell made a motion that the Sidewalk Cafe Permit Application be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE AND REMOVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following traffic control device was approved: NEW INSTALLATIONS: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign LOCATIONS: 2705 Fredrickson Street 114 West Washington Street REMARKS: All criteria has been met Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the removal of the following traffic control devices was approved: REMOVAL: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign LOCATIONS: 30I LaPorte Street 11 l6 West Jefferson Boulevard 1211 West Jefferson Boulevard 926 E. Cedar Street 834 S. 36th Street 1414 Sorin Street REMARKS: No longer needed REMOVAL: Paid Reserved Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign LOCATION: 224 West Jefferson Boulevard REMARKS: No longer needed CONFIRMATION OF MIXED USE PARKING SPACES -EVANGELICAL CHURCHES OF THE APOSTLES AND PROPHETS In a Memo to the Board, Mr. Tony Molnar, Engineering, requested the Board confirm that five on-street parking spaces are standard size and adjacent to the Evangelical Church of the Apostles and Prophets at 441 Howard Street. Mr. Molnar stated this petition does not ask for the parking spaces to be reserved for the Church use, but only indicate that the spaces are standard and adjacent to the use. Mr. Molnar noted the Board of Zoning Appeals required that this be confirmed before they approve a request to grant a variance from the required twenty-four parking spaces. The Church also requested that a "fifteen minute" parking sign be removed from the Howard Street side of the building because it is no longer needed. Upon a motion by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the parking spaces were conf rmed and the removal of the fifteen minute parking sign was approved. FILING OF MONTHLY AND PERFORMANCE MEASURE REPORTS -DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC. WORKS The Divisions of Central Services, Environmental Services, and Water Works submitted their Monthly and Performance Reports for the month of February 2010. There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr, Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the monthly reports were accepted and fled. FILING OF SAFETY REPORTS ~--~ DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS The Division of Central Services submitted their Safety Reports for February 2010. These reports reflect injuries/accidents for each month and provide for a comparison. There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the reports were accepted and filed. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF 1NSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the Certificates of Insurance for the following businesses were accepted far filing:
